A heart full of dreams...and a pocket full of rocks...

I got my Brio magazine in the mail the other day.. in it they had this column A heart full of dreams aand a pocket full of rocks.. I thought about the title the more I did the more I loved it.. It talked about how David defeated Goliath with a slingshot and a rock.. He was just a shepherd boy who had brothers who fought for King Saul and David was bringing his brothers lunch when he overheard a man talking to his brothers about this giant they had to fight.. David said he could do it, would do it, even when all the soldiers were frightened of Goliath.. David even took of his armor!! Because it was too heavy! Goliath laughed knowing he would be an easy kill, but with God on David's side he won..WITH God David defeated Goliath..With a pocket full of rocks...... All I have is a heart full of dreams and a pocket full of rocks..but I have God too. There is not a day that goes by when I don't worry about my future..what jobs I will have.. my family is not rich..I can't be perfect in everything I do.. I am trying to find what I am good at.. What I will be able to accomplish..while all this is happening I am watching one of my favorite relatives heart break over and over again..watching all his life slowly sink away.. I am praying everyday for him..he's my brother.. I won't disclose what is going on his life but I really hope he knows God is for him if he hands his problems over..if he truly gives it all away..all the hurt.. God has my future..I have my rocks..but God has me...
